All Saints' Church

All Saints' - The Parish Church for Milford

All Saints' is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building serving the parish of Milford on Sea in the New Forest. As you will see from just these few photos, it is a great place in which to worship and allows great flexibility within our services. In our regular morning worship we can present a traditional church appearance but then for a family service or for our monthly informal evening service we can remove the communion rails, communion table, priests' stalls and even the pulpit (yes, honestly!) to create an interesting and exciting free space.

At present the congregation tends to reflect the older demographic of the parish and we are enriched by the wide variety of Christian experience and insights which such a body of people brings to our life together. There is no short cut to a life-time's walk with Christ!

We take very seriously our calling to be a parish church, providing a whole range of worship styles appropriate for our community. The main services are Common Worship but we also use the Book of Common Prayer and then at other times we will enjoy free and unstructured worship or use a more contemplative and reflective style. There are also occasions when two or three of our congregations join together for worship on Sunday morning. And then there are many different mid-week activities with lots of opportunities for people to become involved and to use their gifts and to discover new ones

As well as an active in-house church life, members of the church are very involved in the local community. We also hold various outreach events throughout the year. For example there is a Sunday morning open air service during the Milford Music and Arts Festival: a church tent for the Carnival: an open air "Songs of Praise" with the Salvation Army band at Keyhaven: a service on the Village Green on Good Friday, and so on.

The heart of what we are about is seeking to create a body of believers who are rooted, grounded and growing in their faith, with a passion for sharing the good news of God with their friends and neighbours. People who are committed to doing God's will, in God's way for God's glory.

We have still a way to go - but do come and join us on the journey.
